Canadian Car Insurance

What are all you Canadians paying for car insurance for the TT?
I thought I was paying $2500 until I just got a call and my broker has found out the insurance company actually wants $2800. My insurance was based on very low deductibles ($300 Comprehensive, $500 Collision).
The VCI lease states I can raise my deductibles as high as $2500 each, so that may be one way to lower my insurance. I'll also have a 15% discount cut in next Feb when I move my VR6 over to the same company.
Geez, 40 years old, car not used for work, no accidents in my life, last speeding ticket in 1994, and I am getting mugged by the insurance company!
(40 years old Canadian = 23 years old American!)

I live in Vancouver BC and pay about $1600 per year with
$200 deductible. Fifteen years of safe driving, and the car is not
used to commute to work for what it's worth.
