Capitol Carpet & Tile Rip-Off - Rant
The SOB's at CCT in Lantana FL just tried to do the "bait & switch" on me with a signed contract on 1400sqft of tile. It seems their salesman made a $900 mistake in my favor and now they don't want to live up to their contract. They are refusing to do the install at that price - not my problem. Went to the store as a courtesy and the manager was in a hurry to return my deposit. After arguing for about 10 minutes, I took my deposit and left. Now, I'm on a mission to tell everyone how they do business.
Thanks for listening.

Business....The American Way....
Question is....will you hurt them by posting on a car forum?...nope probably not...
So next mission is How can I penalize them for poor business practices...I would be contacting the BBB in the area and making a formal complaint...
Just my Tuppence worth,
Marcus

In such instaces it helps to listen to consumer protection shows on Talk radio like Clark Howard.

They're another class act...
They charged my in-laws 10% of a rolled-coin deposit. Mind you, we are only talking about $60 in coin being worth $54. They said it was a processing fee. Needless to say we no longer bank there - we had been customers for 12 years from the Great Western days. They did care.
