Default Car Cover

Greetings all:

My TT must live outside in the cold! Should I get a car cover and, if so, what kind?

Default I thoroughly recommend the "official" Audi cover from your dealer...

well made, fits really well (including a condom for the antenna) and looks very sharp, too.

Pricy, though!

Default I would not use a cover on a dirty car. So if it ouside all the time then it

is dirty most of the time. Small amounts of dirt will act like sand when you put the cover on. Long term not a good thing. Now if you just want to cover it after it is clean then get teh audi cover. It is the best looking cover I have seen (I have one,but car is garaged)

*Condom anly available/usable on coupe. Causes deep radius bends on Roadster.

Also, the cover seems to leave more dust on the car than it prevents.

Default I agree but

...but I still put a cover on every evening. I guess I just don't think that there is that much dirt on the car after a day at work. If I end up driving through dirt I don't put the cover on, but if not, I do.

4 months of doing this and okay. Whenever the car gets dirty I do NOT put the cover on though.

With winter upon us though I'm not sure what I'll be doing.

Default I am nutty about that, even small amounts of dirt will eventually sully your red roadster

but then, it does keep it cleaner. Like I said b4, we gotta be careful we aren't just saving the car for the next guy by babying it too much.

BTW your drive sounds good.
