Default Car dusters, ok for the paint or bad?

For light dust that settles overnight.

Yep works well. As long as the car dust doesn't get wet.

Default Only use if the dust has been sitting for a short time or if you're car is parked inside...

otherwise the moisture in the air adheres the dust to the car and using the car duster only drags it across the car. Sometimes the oil on the duster comes off on the car too. I use the california car duster, but my car is parked outside. So if the dust has been sitting a while on the car, then using the duster just makes a mess. At that point I usually use a damp towel to get the real dirt off the car, between washings.

Default Beware......brake and rail dust and other contaminants may scratch.

Not a fan of dusting except interior. I prefer to use spray of water to get rid of dirt and not pull it across paint surface.

Yeah... sometimes it leaves streaks... so that's why spray wax is handy

Default I dust mine first thing every morning without issue.

I have been using the Cal duster for years. Be sure to get the one with the wood handle. There is a big difference in quality compared to the dusters found at discount stores.

Bad. There is no way I would use a "microscratcher". Detailer spray is the only way.
