was in peak hour traffic pulled out to overtake and the car just hit a brick wall at ~4k (i was literally thrown forward as the power cut)... then the car just died... restarted... same thing. the car will idle for a few secs then splutters and dies. Unplugged the MAF and things were all OK again... had the laptop in the car and there were no codes. Will go pick up a new MAF tomorrow and hope this resolves. No sign of the MAF going prior to this... was hitting nice g/s (~210 with ****) and part throttle sitting around -3.7.
Damn embarassing and a royal PITA to happen in peak hour traffic.

thinking here we go again - I plugged in my notebook but thankfully this time the ECU had registered MAF signal too low which could not be cleared until I swapped in a new MAF.
Looks like it just decided to pop in one big go and as Murphy's law would have it... in the middle of peak hour traffic. Gotta love them MAFS!
