Default Car won't start, possible plugs problem (AGAIN!)... opinions needed

Ok, I have just had the worst luck with the ignition/plugs/coilpacks in my car. Brand new IK22 plugs installed 3-4 weeks ago. Car was having misfires in one cyl. Replaced plugs but still had slight problem, replaced coil packs. After replcaing all the plugs and all the coilpacks car was running real solid.

About a week ago I notice car would once in a while get a slight blip during idle, figured it was the cold and passed it off.

Today get in the car and when it started idle was very very rough. Car would not not make it out of the garage spot. RPM's were fine, but sounded very very rough. About 1/2 out the garage I got a flashing engine check light. Decided to just part the car and use another one to run my errands. Checked the fault codes and I get a typical random misfires like I was before, and it singled out Cyl 1 and 3.

After letting the car sit for about 45 minutes I tried to start it again but it would just not start up, just would not turn over- would get close, but not quite. Also think I had one backfire after trying to start it. I left it alone after the 2nd attempt- and I did not CRANK on it.

I pulled out cyl 1 and cyl 2's plugs. Both had quite a bit of gas still on them. Also both had flaking off black carbon around the the bottom. Both plugs looked ok, except for the black material. Cyl 1 seemed to have a little more, but I not enough of a diffrence to explain anything. Gap is the same for all the plugs around .30 (I think that was the number, might need another 0 in there somewhere). Plugs were screwed in, not super tight, but a snug fit- not sure how tight they need to be, they were decently easy to unscrew.

I am wondering a few things,
1.) how much does gap mean, .30 vs .32?
2.) I seem to just be having lots of problems with these IK22, or is it totally user error?
3.) How tight would these plugs need to be, could that have been an issue?
4.) Do I just let the plugs dry out, reinstall, and try the car again?
5.) Should I just switch back to the OEM plugs ?(running chip, exhaust, intake, intake hose, etc)

Thanks everyone for opinions!

Default Tom, gap @ .032, try OEM plugs, tighten properly...

that should not be a problem.
I suspect it's the IK22's

Default would .030 be causing such a problem? also what were the tightening directions again?

I remember you telling me but I forgot. Calling the dealership to see if I can get plugs.

Default one other thing... how long should I let everything dry out in the cyl?

It is just so cold out, wondering if I should wait or just replace and refire? Finally what is the stock plug- something I can get at Autozone- $16.26 at the dealer a piece- too much?

Default RIGHT ON! WHY do people install ANYTHING but OEM?? Tom, start with the plugs,

...something is not right, at this point I'm thinking OEM plugs might not solve the problem but try them. JIM
