Default Carrera Panamericana Race in Mexico

Hello

I'm a TT owner for 5 moths now and I'm still enjoying the car.
But I've got some greater news. I have won a contest and the price is a trip to Merxico to follow the Carrera Panamericana Race. It is a race of 3500 km (1 mile = 1.6 km) and only oldtimers are participating.
Is there some US TT owner or lover that knows more about this race or is going?

You can email me personally

Thanks yves

Default Lived in Mexico for 18 yrs.... its a great race... the Panamericana is a highway that stretches....

from the US down all through Mexico, Central and a bit (if not most) of South America. The classes of cars that race are usually older 1950's and '60s models (since this was the peak era of the race). Do you know what part of Mexico you get to go to ??

No, I'm at home and sick -- rotten cold. Go there on business couple times a year!
