Default CD Changer door won't open, help.

So i've had the TT for 2 months now and it seems like everything has gonna wrong. This week its the cd changer door behind the drivers seat. It won't open. Not really sure whats wrong, but when i turn the lock it releases the door but then it looks like something else has got a hold of it. I don't know what it could be because i never put anything in there, besides the cds in the changer Has anyone else had this problem? The dealer won't even look at my car for another week, says they are packed with service appointments. Guess i'll be listening to the same cds for a while.

Default What cover are you refering to?

You can't really slide the cd changer door to the sides at all.

Default i had the same problem...

at the dealer, when i picked up my car for the first time. it turned out that if the car is not (totally) unlocked, that door won't open, even though i could turn the ****. you might try locking and unlocking the car, to see if that helps

They (the dealer)has to remove the roll bar or the assembly from the driver side and install it properly. Apparrently if it is not installed properly something prevents it from opening.

I thought that might be why. So i tryed locking it and unlocking it. But it still don't open. So if there is a lock in there thats controlled by the door, then it might be busted. It sounds loose because it rattles a little. Guess i'll have to wait for the dealer next week then.
Thanks alot

There might be something jammed inside the unit. BTW, where in the "Philly Area" are you?

Default What does that mean? I know the placement isn't identical but the unit is ...

so there should be a door that slides along the front to expose the cartridge bay.

They must be refering to the cubby hole door that the changer sits in.
