Default Champion Motors Audi Service in Pompano .......

does anybody here have any expierience with Champion Audi in Pompano?? They want to replace my Flywheel and Clutch on my 225TTC. Sounds like a big job and I was wondering if I should get a second opinion.

Car started to make some loud vibration as well as shifting gears beginning to be notchy. They said they have to order the parts to do the job. Still waiting to bring in the car.

Now I am also hearing serious cloncking noices when driving over speed bumbs (I am always driving very slow, almost standing, over speedbumbs) as well as starting to hear this clonking noice when driving over uneven curbs or roads. Sounds like a broken engin-mount or so..!!

14500 miles on my 225Q coupe..only.!

Default Should be good....

They should know what they're doin...they race an Audi R8 in the American Le-mans Series and one of the Speedvision S4s. I would trust them...as it would seem that they know their $hit when it comes to Audis(they also race Porsches in the same same series).
My two cents

Default Re: Champion Motors...I highly recommend them

They are the largest Porsche/Audi dealer in the US and they did work on one of my Audi's many years ago. Also, if you watch any of the GT Racing series on Speedvision you'd see that their cars usually place in the top two spots consistently.

BTW, is this a warranty repair?

Default Re: Should be good....**not really.!!!

I know they are racing, seen their race cars a few times, that still does not mean that the tec working on my TT has any Idea what he is doing. they checked for broken flywheel by disabeling the Haldex system, which I was reading about before. They diagnosed a bad flywheel and clutch, told me it take a week to get the parts and that I should get the car and bring it back once they have the parts.
"Give us 45 minutes and the car will be ready. We only have to put a few plastic covers back on and wash it, than it should be ready for pick up" After I arrived an 1 1/2 hours later they still haven't washed it and gave me the keys. Haldex still disabled, as I found out later by discovering fuse No. 31 in my ashtray, fuse cover by the way was still on the back seat, I don't really call that top service.
Hope their actual repairs are better than their customer service

Default Just Got My TT there 3 weeks ago.....

Sure, I paid list price and waited 6 months for the special order car, but...
So far, they have been of the highest quality in customer service. They handled the tinting of the windows and subcontracted it so that they can ensure top quality and they warrant the work themselves!
They even sent a guy to my office 12 miles away in an A6 to pick me up and take me to the dealer at the end of the business day.

Also, they were the best ( and only *honest*) service dept in the area when I relocated here from NJ in 1987 with my 1985 4000CS Comemerative....
