Changing Battery-Does radio have to be re-coded?

thanx 4 info.-same here, took my radio code card
was thinking of plugging in 12volt coleman powerpack but didnt want to fry anything,and same with me previous owner took out code card.

You can plug a 12V source into the Cig. plug....>
No problem. This will retain all your ECU, Dash and Radio settings. I've been doing this for years...

the CCA is rated at 580 or 590 (stock is in the 450-490 range i think) the size is a bit lower (about 0.5in and about 1-in shorter)but i think they are still 60A
