But it just lacked verve, or spirit. The Cayenne, admittedly a Boxster hardtop one-off, is MUCH better as an overall experience. And it look smuch better inside too.

categories except snow. IMO, the 225Q only matched the 986S in looks, but beat it in comfort and interior style. But then again, if audi had put an additional $15K into a 225Q, it would be a match for an 986S.
