Default Cheap Plastics ***** in Interior...>>>

I went to grab the interior driver door handle and my hand snapped off the plastic **** that controls the power mirrors.

Does anyone have a spare power mirror control switch for a 2000 coupe???

I understand, but there really isn't a whole lot of room elsewhere that isn't intrusive.

Default They could also have made it more easily replaceable. Even better, they could/should have used a

metal shaft on the main pin so it wouldn't break so easily. It's pretty small, prone to get hit and take abuse - design for the conditions!

Default It's not the placement

It's the ****. My Dad broke the same thing on his A6 and it's in the center console. The **** might be big, but the actual shaft is pretty twiggy.

Default I may have to fine drill a hole and use a thin long screw,

maybe as thin as those on eyeglasses but longer to put the **** back on the switch. This is gonna be a PITA as super glue may be good but not strong enough.
