Can anyone help? Not sure what to do from here.
The code reads:
Engine coolant temperature circuit high.
Explanation....Open or short circuit condition.
Probable cause.....Poor electrical connection or faulty ECT sensor.
Thanks so much

It's probably your coolant temp. sensor.
It's on the top of the engine and is a green color. It's pushed in place with an o-ring and a plastic clip.
It's easy to replace except that you have to move a few brittle
plastic hoses to get at it. You risk breaking those plastic vacuum
lines, so be gentle.
On the 1.8 engine it's on the driver's side, top.

May I add? Remove your coolant fill cap to relieve any pressure before you pull the sensor, but put it back on while you swap them. This will greatly reduce coolant loss while you fish out the old O-ring. Also buy a new clip when you buy the sensor, in case you break it or drop it. The sensor is, as was stated, on the drivers side of the engine in a plastic fitting (coolant flange) that connects the radiator hose to the block.
