Default I forget...225 or 180?........>>

If 225 get the Audi remanufactured one. Only $69 at ECS. Overall performance is better matched than the VW one. You need the element anyway, especially if you go for a BAMM/**** which is the housing only..

Default Steve if my over oiling did screw it up then wouldnt the next maf get screwed up too?

then I guess i should get a new K&N filter too???

or would washing a couple of time do the trick?

Default Did you clean it per the instructions?

That came with the kit? If it's pretty red you probably used too much. Might wanna try again. After cleaning the filter will be a whiteish gray. Take light, quick sprays down the pleats as you rotate the filter until it is a light pink color...

actually it is pinkish grey, Ive read the post where ppl over oil so i used as lil as poss

Default Then the failure may just be coincidental...If...>

The filter was dirty, and now clean, it's now flowing more air which might have pushed the MAF over the edge...
