Child seat question

My guess without having tried it is that I don't think it will work. Fortunately I am past this pesky stage(my son is seven)...but...my memory of child seats is that they tend to need a bit of seat depth both for the infant kind (baby bucket) or the toddler kind due to the leg room required in front of the seat. The other big limiter is probably access to the rear seat since even with the front passenger seat pushed forward, seat back tilted forward, there is not much space between the seat back and the door jamb. I know ther is no way you could get an infant seat loaded through that opening , especially with a kid in it. I also doubt you could actually get a toddler seat through the opening as well, even with no kid sitting in it at the time. If you actually pulled it off, you would probably scratch the paint big time.Sorry...don't sell the mini van yet!

We took NM #092 to a PCA concour last weekend -- My wife and I sat in the front, in the back we had a 4 year old and a baby in a child seat. The hatch had more room for the stroller than the trunk of our Volvo sedan.<p>Can't say it was entirely comfortable for my wife (not much leg room), but we survived a 50 mile round trip ok.
