Will be at some point, but gains will be a fraction of turbo charged models.
The chip will probably help smooth out the power band - I come from A4 2.8 land so I am familiar with the the NA Audi engines.
Also, a transmission chip would probably speed up shifting...

AmD Technik's chip is available...
$799.00 plus shipping gets you +20BHP, +10lb ft at the crankshaft.
They have a more extensive modification that includes a cat back exhaust, cams, and an ECU remap that's brings the car to 300BHP (torque unknown). However, there's apparently an import problem on the exhaust, so this kit isn't available in the United States.<ul><li><a href="http://www.AmDTechnikUSA.com">AmD Technik USA</a></li></ul>
