Chipped (Stage 1) 180Coupe Quattro vs. Stock 225Coupe Quattro
#32
I got one
I have a 2000 180 TT and it was completely stock when I got it. The acceleration was incredibly slow compared to my last car ( Volvo S80 t6) and that was disappointing.
I put the stage 1 tune on it plus n75 j valve and an aftermarket intercooler. It's was about 800$ all together and now I'm hitting 5 second range 0-60 from like almost 7-8 seconds stock.
top speed went from 140 to 149 which isn't much but it gets there much much faster. When it was stock if I was driving against the wind it may only top out at 130 but with the tunes it now will hit 149 against the wind.
No idea how much hp it has now from stock
The thing is the car wasn't fun before. But now it's a blast and I didn't have to spend several thousands more to get the stock 225 version. I think it's worth getting a 180 and putting cheap tunes on it for fun daily driving if you can't get the 225.
