Choices: {2.0T S Tronic} or {3.2 Quattro S Tronic} or {3.2 Manual}
I'm sure this has been discussed, but cant find a consise set of opinions. I'm driving a 2002 6-speed roadster with 68K (and no TB, if that's relevant). Absolutely love the car, and have been driving a manual most of my driving life.
I drove the 2.0 with S-tronic, and was blown away -- loved it. I also drove the 3.2 S-tronic, and was less enthusiastic. While more powerful, it was actually harder for me to drive it smoothly than the 2.0.
I havent driven the 3.2 stick, but frankly the cost of the 2.0 is a lot closer to my budget.
Hard to ask, but do folks think I'll miss the manual, and whats the driving experiences been with the 3.2's?
Thoughts?

Depends on the individual. I wouldn't touch a DSG/S-tronic (yes, I have
driven them) nor do I care how much faster they shift than I can. For me it's 3 pedals only. Others-like you, apparently- feel otherwise. Buy what you like. I'm just sad that so many seem to be going with the "paddles" and the cars available with a conventional manual are a dying breed.
