Default clean engine bays

how do all of you keep your engines so clean? my engine seems like it burns oil and has some residue on some of the pipes and the plastic covers...

Default i did as much of what ur looking for as i could was a uber pain, i moved lots of vac stuff to be

hidden and such....... and have no extra bs at all

old toothbrush for the tuff spots......i do use water to clean, and avoid the alternator, ECU and hard pressure against the firewall....

Never had an issue.....make sure the engine is cold, and start when you are done to dry.....use soft rag for anything "blingy" under the hood...

Same here however, I use compressed air to blow off the engine.

Default simple green on a wet rag to wipe everything down. For the really nasty stuff I recommend

Default I used some simple green then some black trim shine to make the hoses look pretty

Default I wash it every time I drive it and wax all the painted parts
