Default Clean MAF: Yesterday I cleaned my MAF and posted that it didn't seem to make a difference. Well...

the difference is certainly not big, but after driving it all morning, I did notice that there was a little less surging but also seem to make a small difference on power in the upper rpms, 5,000+ in 2nd, and mostly 3rd. Is something that I will definately add it to my "things to clean" list.

Default Directions are courtesy of Larry (of course) here is the link. One trick I found was...

to disconnect the wire first, then the band clamp connecting it to the hose second, then unscrew the air filter cover and lift up. this allows easy access to the two screws, tricky one is the back one, that attach the MAF to the air box. Hope that helps.

Finding and Cleaning Your MAF
