Clunk when reversing

Default Clunk when reversing
Once in a while when i reverse i hear a clunk noise, id say once maybe ever 5 or 6 times i backup. No noise like that what so ever while driving normally.

Default Check the 3 engine mounts to begin with.
Could be a normal noise of all the various clearances being taken up at once though.

could be your strut bearings.

Why would the strut bearings clunk when going into reverse?

Default got it too. Was fixed once (something to do with steering linkage) but came back. I leanred to live
with it.

Default i've heard when a caliper bolt is loose...be it at least one, it would tend to clunk when
going into reverse. not so much when going forward..but just when reversing direction...the caliper shifts and makes a clunk sound as you brake.

Pull the front wheels and try and wiggle the calipers. Same for the rear
