Default cluster problems

How many people have had there Speedo cluster die? How did the dealer fix this? Did any one have to pay for this repair?

Default I have an intermittent water temp guage problem with my 2nd cluster.

I plan to have them fix it at next major service interval, but most likely it's the temp sending units as I have nothing else wrong with the cluster... yet. :/

Default At startup on cold mornings

my water temp alarm will beep and flash. On one occasion the car would not warm up past two bars. The other two times it simply flashed and beeped, but the car ran fine.

Default I don't have this at all, the temp guage just yo-yo's up and down from cold to mid.

Drives me nuts! :/

Default Just picked my car up from having cluster replaced

Fuel gauge would go to empty mark and stop and low fuel lite would come on. Miles to empty worked though.

Default More likely your Coolant Temp Sensor - that's what happened when my went bad

gauge went nuts. They thought it was the cluster - but of course they were wrong.

Default OK, will let them know that and NOT replace the cluster. Thanks!

Of course they will promptly ignore me and/or dent my car again anyway. :/
