(yes, the TB etc has been done :-) )
For a while now I've been getting a strange sound from my clutch and never really though much about it but the more I think about it the more I figure I should ask if it means trouble or not...
At idle and the car out of gear, if I press the clutch in and release it rather quickly I hear what sounds like a slapping sound of the pressure plate, disk and flywheel coming together. It's not a sometimes-it-does-this-sometimes-it-doesn't, it happens every time. All else about the clutch seems normal, no slipping, no chatter etc. except for this sound. Any takers?
