I just drove my TT off lot today (myself and 11 other gentleman) and I am amazed that out of 12 of us, I was only one that choose the Amulet Red body. 6 gentleman had Lake Silver and 3 had Denim Blue and 2 had Raven Black.<p>I asked one guys what he thought of red, and he said hey it's German if I wanted red I would have bought REAL red on Italian car.<p>Well I still dont know if this was insult or not, but besides that point, if this opinion prevails, I am glad I got red because at least It will be more unique.<p>One of the guys told me about this internet forum, so I came write home to try. There are some good comments here, and even I still glad I drove home the Amulet Red TT, I will be curious to read your opinions.

I agree with you, the idea of having a unique TT. (mine shall be too - with Tip and 16") But driving a TT is already VERY unique! No matter what colour your TT is, the car is just... great~! And congrad to you, and anybody eles who got their TTs! Enjoy!

What's this about red? I was told two of the colors, the Raven Black and the Amulat Red, actually everything but the silver and blue, were not available yet. Now is my dealer full of caca or is this guy?<p>He kind of sounds like maybe he got his in another country or something. If so where? Maybe someone can shed some light on this, because I want raven black and my dealer said it would be about 4 freikin' months!

I didn't have a big choice! I was told that all of the first deliveries to the Los Angeles area were to be either silver or black. No other colors until at least July.

Who cares about color? I'd take olive-drab if I could have one now!
