Concerned over Audi TT quality

I have never had a problem with my TT has been an issue mechanically with the engine, drivetrain, etc.
However, the interior plastics are of lesser quality than one would find in a Kia, meaning that you will have rattles and will frequently find yourself pissed off at "what's rattling <b>now</b>".
(The warranty doesn't help, because replacing a poorly designed piece of plastic trim that rattles with another piece of the same poorly designed trim doesn't help..)
Would I buy one again? I'm not sure. Am I glad I <i>did</i> buy one - <b>quite</b>.

If you want rock-solid reliability and dependability, buy a Toyota or a Lexus.
If you want the experience of driving what is arguably one of the most beautiful cars in the world, then buy the TT. The car has a great warranty and most of the maintenance is included.

As for the quality issues the earlier one doesnt rattle as much and the Steering is heavier and more responsive the leather on the steering wheel is different and feels more rubbery when u get a tight grip the gears are heavier when shifting the 2001 model feels smoother to drive but rattles much more and has a different engine note when pushed to the limit and the steering is a bit on the lighter side and i like the older ones suspension better but the lack of ESP makes it feel like a death trap on rainy days.

Several partially paved roads in our area - no rattles - some buzzing and a little creaking - but nothing out of the norm for a vehicle.
