I have had my TT for six months now and since I got it I have always had the radio cut out intermittently for a second when tuned into Radio 1 (98.8FM). It only seemd to happen when listening to Radio 1 and a friend has experienced the same problem. Yesterday I also noticed for the first time that the volume suddenly increased whilst listening to Radio 1 and 'ALARM' was displayed on the radio. Has anyone else had the same problem in the U.K?

.....in London, there are many frequencies that Radio 1 use - with RDS on, many radios frequently swap frequencies to select the strongest signal (which changes as you go down a street in London). I suspect the break in transmission you are hearing is nothing more than the radio swapping frequencies - I don't have my TT yet so I don't know whether or not you can switch off the auto frequency feature - I can on my current Sony unit and it gets rid of the breaks.
