Confirm something for me...A TT without ESP has no traction control..Correct?

All Audi's with ESP also have ASR. You should be able to find it in your Owner's Manual

Was there a time limit on that recall? I have a 2000 quattro, w/o ESP, if I can upgrade, sweet!

My early 2001 TT does not have ESP. It does have EDL which is brake-based traction control. I believe non-quattro early model TT's don't have EDL, they have ASR, which is a traction control system that limits wheelspin by reduction of fuel and spark retardation.

I bought mine pre-owned so not sure but I so have ESP.
