Confirmed: The 3.2 can do 60 in 2nd gear...
It redlines at that point and the DSG will shift just beyond redline, whether you like it or not. But yes, the car can do 60 in 2nd.

That's interesting, because I'm sure I've read people here say they couldn't, presumably in 225 TTs?
I know I can pass 60 no problem in second gear in my 180 FWD. How about 180Q? Geared shorter in second?

Interesting.... maybe the 3.2 6sp manual will have the capability too....
...if there is such an animal in the works. Being able to hit 60 in second with DSG seems to make little difference, since it shifts so fast anyway...much faster than us humans, anyway.
