Ok, I lied! It's real annoying!

My car is making a strange humming noise coming from the front end somewhere. I wasn't able to check anything as of yet since I just noticed it on my lunch break while cruising around in the snow. Yes, it's snowing here in Dallas, TX!

Anyways, the noise is directly correlated to the RPMs.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I got that dreaded hum/sack of bees noise from the PCV rebuild thats not related to RPMs. Different boat, same river.

thanks for your reply! thats sort of what it sounds like though. its really loud and along with that noise, i can hear something trying to work but sounds like its half dead.

i was thinking the fuel pump could be bad!? is that what it is!? the thing that is on after you turn off your car and makes that bee noise. after fuel cooling pump or something!? would that be causing the loud whistle/hum!?
