You don't have to mix...
you can just add equal amounts of antifreeze and water, it will quickly get mixed in the cooling system. Why pay for shipping/packaging water?
Some people claim the VW stuff is made by Pentosin, but I've never seen any documentation to back that up.
I think it's more likely to be BASF Glysantin G 30, and that the newer VW G12+ is Glysantin G 30-91. G 30 is pink, like the older VW G12, G 30-91 is violet, just like the newer G12. Pentosin AFAIK is only available in pink. I believe that VW changed colors to help avoid confusion with some other manufacturer's pink-colored OAT coolants.

well the shop that i had my TB changed said he mixed it... i didn't really trust him but i go along
with it. anyway... i'm going to try the WV.. i wonder what my coolant going to be like after i mix pink with purple ...
so bottom line, do i have to use distilled water or i can just use the regular stuff; pour that straight into the reservoir and let the system mix by itself?
again thanks for the clarification.

Use distilled...
or deionized, or RO (reverse osmosis) water. It's cheap enough, and you won't get any minerals settling out.
The best way to check to see if the mixture is correct is to use a refractometer, but a simple $5 "floating ball" type from your FLAPS will work well enough. (they're available for testing both ethylene glycol and propylene glycol based antifreeze - G12 is ethylene glycol)
