my car is a 99 build model...the coolant sensor availale for it it the green top one eveyone has been talking about...only thing is...mine is a blue top and not listed for the 2000 TT...apparently Audi stole parts from the A4 line to make up the TT initially...Different plug too on the sensor ....Its a Blue top

Heres the part number should you need to replace it...
