Coolant temperature indicator light

Coolant temperature indicator light
Lately, on cold starts on cool mornings (below 80 degrees), the coolant temperature warning has been coming on on my DID. It goes out after less than one block of driving and the temperature gauge on the dash is behaving normally. The car is not overheating and the coolant level in the reservoir is normal.
Any thoughts or ideas? I'm sure this is going to be one of those "cannot duplicate" things when I go to the dealer.
By the way, this started happening at Bracketfest, so I suspect Steve's black truck had something to do with it ...

Don't know if the TT is like this, but most of the time there are two temp sensors......
One for the guage and one for the warning light.
Sounds like the one for the warning light may be
bad. Car doesn't seem to have a problem, just
an issue for the dealer though.
