On New Year's Day we saw 5 State boys within 10 miles of leaving Ashville. The first one was up close and personal. We only saw 3 more the rest of the drive to Pittsburgh (7hr.). They are serious about making their department a profit center. So when I'm not running with the pack, I plan to be cautious. The Blue Ridge Mountain Parkway would probably be safer and more fun, time allowing.
