I've had it up to here ^ with the squeal I get with the porterfield pads... no matter how much I champher, clean, glue, etc... the damn squeal comes back in a few hundred to 1000 miles... I have "serviced" the pads at least 5 times so far.... argh!!!!! We'll see how the Mintex fair.....

Default I've had the Mintex RB on my Stoptechs for about 2 weeks now....

MUCH less dust than the Axxis pads or OEM...in fact, my front wheels now stay cleaner than the rears! (OEM pads in the rear).

The Mintex pads do squeal a little, though...not as much as the Axxis pads.

Default Well I was gonna order RS4's for my StopTech's - but my Axxis pads don't squeal at all

that's with about 1500 miles on em though. I've had Mintex Red Box in two cars - never any squealing either. They produce almost as much dust - it's just lighter in color not as noticable as they are not sintered like factory Pagids. Everyone with RS4's in StopTechs have said that they don't have squealing problems. I'm with you Ted - squealing brakes just don't cut it. Dust I don't care about.

Default I have Mintex redbox and they squeal slightly, but I kinda like that. ;)

And *WAY* lighter and less dust!

They may not squeal, but they also don't work nearly as well as R4-S pads imo.

Default give them time, they will squeal...

my Axxis pads were silent for maybe 5000 miles, then they started squealing like a bitch in heat!
