Could someone explain to me why Audi decided to make FWD's? Shouldn't they be all about Quattro??

Could someone explain to me why Audi decided to make FWD's? Shouldn't they be all about Quattro??

Default Actually - Audi was one of the pioneers of FWD - don't remember
which brand of the "four" that comprise the 4 rings did it first though. Quattro was actually pretty far down the evolutionary scale.

I meant as far as the TT goes. Wh bring it out only in FWD before they brought it out in Quattro?

Default Oh - I have no idea - actually I got the GTI VR6 because it
offered better performance for $10k less and was fwd!
