could someone tell me why sometimes my car idles at 1200 rpms and sometimes only 800?

could someone tell me why sometimes my car idles at 1200 rpms and sometimes only 800?

Default On starting from cold the automatic choke will set it to idle faster. When temperatures...
are up to normal the idle will drop back down to 800rpm (or so).

The automatic choke, when cold, sends the engine a richer mixture and adjusts the idle revs. up.

Default yeah but sometimes it will start low, then flip back to high and vice versa
normal i guess? no problems otherwise

Is this at the first start of the day or even if the car is already warmed up?

Default mine does that as well sometimes in the morning when the
secondary air injection is on....seems like I am not the only one as I have talked to another Stg 3 owner that has this as well and never had it before the install.

Doesn't hurt anything and goes away as soon as the air pump goes off....

Maybe it is an APR thing
