i took my bike rack off, since the season is nearing the end for me...
but left the base OEM rack on. the bike rack that i have is the front fork mount version made by thule. i also have a snowboard rack from my GTI that also works with the OEM rack.

yes, at least it says Thule on my bike rack.
that's the one that Audi sold with the OEM base racks. works great. again, only problem is that you cannot open the back hatch with the bike rack on...it'll hit the hatch glass.

Just one left now...
I had to secure a rack before the car, ya know, priorities! Now I gotta find myself an 02 225 TTQC in the SF Bay Area for something I can afford (and keep me wifey happy).

try 8N0071126 or call and ask for the "base rack" for the TT coupe. There is aslo a link in a post about racks on page 2 or maybe now 3 of this forum. Good luck.
