Default Cowling cover part number>>

Does anyone have the part number for the cowling cover? (the one under the wipers). Mine is ripped in several places, and my dealer always orders the wrong parts unless I have a specific part number. TIA

Have you looked on the underside? There should be a P/N, starts with '8N0-

Default I could do that, was just hoping to not have to rip it off again until...

the new one came in. Will do if no one has access to the number. Thanks Jeff.

Default If it's really called a 'water box cover'....

Then it was you, and it's part number 8N1 819 415A...the description didn't sound right though.

Default Sweet, thanks! Yes it's easy to break....too easy actually...

I thought it would be more resilient. It's been broken since tt east '03, and I seem to just make it worse somehow

Default Yeah... You've gotta be REAL careful removing that sucker. I always

start from one end and VERY gently pull up at the windshield end, then run my fingers under it all the way along till it's free. That's a mistake you only make once.
