Default Anyone that has put a new front bar in will have their old one to give you (Steve?). MANY people

will pay you more for your MK1 arms than an independant shop will charge to put the bar in.

Just a thought, and you can keep you sig ; )

I seriously doubt you will get your arms back - the dealer HAS to send them back to Audi, or they don't get the replacement parts for free.

Wouldn't surprise me at all if you find a spoiler on your car.

Why risk it?

Default i feel my spoiler paranoia returning >:-)

Oh sure, I just convince myself that my car will remain spoiler-free, after having repetitively told the rep at the dealer to not install it, stopping just short of threatening his family ....

I have discovered that I'm just not that into my car any more. I still love the way it looks, still go way out of my way to find the perfect parking spots in order to remain ding free, still hand wash it, still touch the door mirror and say sweet nothings when I lock it and walk away. :-) If this sway bar problem had occurred prior to, say, 2003, I would not have considered doing the recall mods to save money. I was so principled then. (sigh)

The honeymoon is over. Now we're like an old couple, perhaps not lusting after each other any more but still very much in love. Hand me a hankie, will you ? :-)

Default Wrap that area of the hatch in a bunch of saran-wrap

And write on there in big bold letters

DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT IT!

Default Ahhh ! I should have done that when I dropped the car off !

It's too late now. My car's fate is in the TT god's hands now.

Now that's actually really funny. Every time I take the car in I should do that, because every time I take the car in they ask me if I want those recall mods.
