I have a 5 inch crack on my windshield, passenger side starting from below the passenger side wipers upwards. I did not get hit by any debris or anything. I am very careful with the car and all of a sudden I find a crack today. Can it by caused by stress and is it covered by the warranty?

After some discussion with dealer and Audi rep, it was replaced under warranty... this is not a new issue, has happened to several of us.

Make sure you bring it in first thing so that they can look at it and say that its covered under warranty before anything else happens, like a rock hits it afterwards. You should not have a problem getting it replaced

Stress crack, fixed under warranty. They kept the car for just one day to make sure windshield was sealed properly.
