Everything has been great so far for my FMIC install, however upon rounding the corner I broke off the portion of the T-adapter from the FPR, which they say is fagile and can break easily. Go Figure..So I go to the parts store and buy a new plastic T-adapter similar sized. I'm working on getting the other 2 hoses off to install the new T-adapter and realize that the base of the plastic dipstick is broken. I dont know what to do about this... havent really looked at it yet ![Frown](https://www.audiworld.com/forums/images/smilies/frown.gif)
So, needless to say I call it quits at this point. Working on it for 6-7hrs, things going wrong, it must be time to stop for the day.

Only costs $10 or less, but not always in stock.
Broke an angel eye on the install Sunday and it just screwed up the rest of the day.

I swear, one thing goes wrong and the whole thing goes down the crapper. Everything was beautiful until I broke the plastic T-adapter from the FPR. And I'm not a very mechanically inclined person, so getting this far successfully makes me feel like I'm on top of the world.
Well, pack up the tools and start at it freshly tommorrow.
Oh, NasTTcar, the dipstick holder, get it at dealer? I didnt really look at what I had done so I dont know what needs to be done. Simple swap?

I am pretty mechanically inclined, also Mech. Engr., and while most things go right for me, I do have my share of embarrasing moments.
Like doing a sway bar install for UneekTT and can't find the little slit for opening up the bushing for the sway bars, so its off to the basement, fire up the bandsaw and cut a neat slice in both just to find a quarter of the bushings to fall off. Good thing they are held captive, but still very embarrasing.
Good Luck on Tuesday.
