CRC DBQ: http://www.autobarn.net/ch05016.html
- this one looks like putty
CRC De-Squeak: http://www.crcind.com.au/catalogue.nsf/web_brands/De-Squeak?openDocument
- aerosol
Permatex DBQ: http://www.permatex.com/products/automotive/specialized_maintenance_repair/brake_maintenance_repair/auto_Permatex_Disc_Brake_Quiet.htm
- also aerosol
Which one is best? The putty one seems like it would do the best job, but I'm not sure.......![Smile](https://www.audiworld.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
Also, when you change out the pads next time, is it hard to get the sprayed on/goop off?

I use quality OEM pads (Textar, Pagid, Jurid, Ate, etc.) and quality "plain" rotors (Zimmerman, Brembo, Ate, etc.). Sometime I use "pre-owned" pads as long as they're a good brand.
I also hold my mouth right during installation.
Never a problem on the TT.

is messy...but the paste is easier to apply to the back of the pads in the areas that you need it the most.
i have used it in the past, but haven't recently.
