crc synthetic brake caliper grease
I've read this can be applied on the back of brake pads [instead of the goop stuff] and that this is much easier to work with and clean?
Has anyone tried this? Not much info regarding specifically using this for brake pads in the archives....
Where else should this be used on?

Yes, but. I just bought a set of Raybestos pads for my truck. They recommend greasing the sides
of the baking plates to reduce noise. This is not uncommon advice, but I don't know that I want this stuff anywhere near the friction surface.
I highly recommend the spray Disc Brake Quiet. It works quite well on the street. And, it stays where you put it.

is the spray easy to get off after you switch pads? I'm still trying to decide if I should use ...
that or the red goop stuf (crc disc brake quiet) ... which is also used i guess for the same purpose but it's a paste instead of spray .... and i'm unsure how hard that would be to take off later :X
If it's too much of a PITA than I may return it and get the spray instead ...
