About 6 months ago I posted reagrding this issue and amazingly it seemed I was the only one with the problem. Now I knoe of just oen other.
Anyone else? The archives come up with nothing.
To re-itterate: load metallic creaking noise from front suspension when going over speed bumps etc, but only when engine/suspension is hot. Fine when cold. Audi have replaced sway bars, ball joints, etc. to no avail, and they're stumped.
Car is stock 225QR, by the way.
Any advice?

I had a creaking sound that emanated from the front passenger side. After checking and rechecking, it turned out to be that long piece of plastic covering the xenons. Go figure. It must have been rubbing the wrong way.

and steering column. I am not happy about this at all. They first tried to blame it on the springs until tehy checked it 3 times to find out that the noise is not comming from there but actually from the pedals. My pedals at the worst, will actually move up and down with the creaks. Not good.
