Default Current A4 owner wanting to go TT roadster...

Anyone here an ex-A4 owner turned TT owner? I wanted to get some comparisons and contrasts between the good and bad of these two cars from those that have own/owned both.

What made/sold you to make the change? Do you miss anything about your A4 that you don't have in your TT? Major complaints - B honest, I know the TT isn't perfect =)

Thx.

I own both....the TT is a different animal, they are each great IMO- the TT just turns up the volume

if you get a TT...Never use the words pimps, peeps, or other slang in your posts. And of course remove Slipknot and GWAR from your CD player...but old Van Halen (pre sammy) is ok...

<hey i am joking>

Default No rattles is nice...

I used to own a 1997 A4 1.8QT and let me tell you, that its one sweet ride. The build quality and design- built like a vault. That being said, I have no regrets about buying my quirky Karman Ghia,err sorry I mean TT roadster because if you're looking for fun, nothing even comes close.

Just got my TT 7 days ago, traded in my 1998.5 1.8TQ with sport. The A4 was incredible build quality and a blast to drive hard (5sp). But........... the TT is a whole new game! Two things I miss already , no oil temp or pressure gauge ( You've got to be kidding Audi!!!!!!!!) and my trunk with bins to store things. I would like to hear from members who have driven both in the winter, my A4 was unstoppable with snows!

Default Snows on a TTQ only turns it into even more fun to drive .. .

It is better than any 4x4 I have driven in snow. It handles like a SnowCat.

From what people that own both have said on here, the TT handles better in the winter, but I have never driven an A4 with snows in the snow, so I can't say.
