Default Funny you should ask...

I traded in my 2001.5 1.8tQ A4 for a 180TTR this past tuesday. There is no comparison. While I did like my A4, the TT is sooo much fun to drive and it makes you wonder why you did not get one in the first place. Here is my list of pros and cons to compare and contrast between the 2with just my expierence in the last 72 hours(different results may vary)

A4 Pros:
Integrated garage door opener
dimming review mirror
Better Bose system
More trunk space (duh!)
Smoother ride
Lighted Vannity mirrors (very important feature for women...again this is MY expierence)
Airbags for the Head
Full size spare

TT Pros:
STYLE!!!!
More power
Baseball Leather (this is by far the best leather ever created on any car!)
It is a roadster
Bigger back seat than my A4 (Here is the cynic in me!)
Well..I have only had it for a couple of days but so it is hard for me to see anything past my grin.
Get the TTR and you will not regret it....I promise.

Default I had an A6, my wife has an A4. The differences with my TT are:

That the TT requires more attention while driving, meaning the other two are a more relaxing drive (being automatics) and take the road bumps much much better, of course. Also, you can fit more people inside. The TT is more fun on the highway but the others are more civilized in the city. The differences are noticeable (much more with the roadster), you'll need time to adapt.

Default Owned a 2k A4..now 2001 225QR..

I miss the room & snow capablilites of the A4, but with the top down, and much more power and handling (stock) there is no comparison, the TT Roadster 225 is the man!!!

Default I had both .. The TT is definitely a different beast...

Both are fun to drive. The storage capacity difference isn't too bad. (I'm single, no kid so I guess I really can compare.) The TT is much of a beast to drive compared the the nice crusing you can do in the A4. Both were 5 speeds, non quattro (I live in CA, no snow except in the mountains). Definitely get way more looks in the TT...
