Default Which is why it's scratched and dented?

Or why no one bothered to clean up where they wheeled off the welds?

This is not the sort of quality that I was expecting.

Sure, I bet it works well, but the intake manifold is pretty visible, and it's pretty sad that this one looks this bad.

Also, are you not seeing how the manifold is gouged and scratched and such where it would bolt to the engine? It's those openings that the gaskets would need to seal around.

I'm pretty sure that it wasn't engineered to introduce turbulence there.

Default Gotcha. You'll understand when you see 'em.

Also, you weren't the slightest bit pissed that they ground some of the welds or seams -- or whatever they were -- off so poorly?

Has me pretty miffed.

Default Mine wasn't damaged as well. But judging from some of the sanding,

it was probably done in a hurry due to all the pent up demand and rush for them.

Yeah, and for a high-dollar part, that's unacceptable, IMO.

Default And you haven't even installed it. I hope you realize that the manifold isn't jewelry...

but more mechanical and functional in nature and does work for what its intended for. So what if it is slightly scratched, you won't even see it and it doesn't affect the actual performance.

Go ahead, don't put it in....you just don't know what you're missing. Believe me, Danny will take it back, no problem.
