I know :) I had this very same conversation with one of my co-workers who said that life sure was a
lot more fun for kids when he was growing up in Canada 20 years ago.
With respect to terrorist attacks.
Israel has had its share for a while, but that has not taken away from the excitment of life. Yes people are more causios, but they still live! ...and life is their priority, not work - which is how it should be in my opinion. Now, I am not basing this on personal experience, but I was amazed to hear people who visited Israel in the last few weeks, tell me how much fun they had and how alive the country is dispite all the terror.

Parents overreact in the states.
Apparently it's trendy for parents to hang around at birthday parties, soccer practice, etc. just to stare at their kids and make sure nothing happens to them.

On the other hand "In the States" parents have to think before even touching their kids......
and that's fuc*in insanity.... one even dares as much as raise their hands and fuc*in cops surround their house like it's Osama's house! Makes you think twice about having kids here.
