Darn CT... second front strut bushing popped in the last 7 months. Are there aftermarket pieces?

...it's more of a feeling that the car can only back-up so far in a turn before the drivetrain stops it from moving any further until the inside wheel slips. It happens in tight forward turns too. In tight turns the inside wheel is trying to turn as many revolutions as the outside wheel, like they're locked together instead of being allowed to turn separatley as normal. It's possible the binding is occuring in the Haldex coupling/clutch due to different rotation speeds between the front and rear drive shafts. In turns, the front wheels may travel different distances than the rear wheels causing a difference in revolutions between the front and rear drive shafts. Haldex is supposed to allow some slippage between the two, but mine doesn't seem to. Pulling the handbrake disengages Haldex sometimes eliminating the binding. This makes me think it's not the rear diff. pinion gears, plus there is no grinding sound at all. Sorry for the long explanation. :-) My posts on the subject a few weeks ago go into even more detail. $3200 fix according to the dealer. :-(

even when I do, it doesn't occur. It's extremely inermittent so I just decided that if I can't duplicate it, no one will be able to fix it, so it's just sorta 'there' - sometimes. :-/

...although I'm able to notice the binding more often, at this point I don't think I'm going to do anything until it gets worse. The cure (replacing the final drive-Haldex/rear diff) is pretty harsh medicine to take out of warranty, if that's really the problem. I think 95 out of 100 people wouldn't notice anything wrong with my car right now. Thanks for your reply. :-)
