Here is a data logger. I was wondering if this is the type of thing you guys use on you tt's. If not what do you use?

DATALOGGER

Default Go with ProDiag ...

They have an outstanding PalmOS-based solution that supports many different devices and it is as good if not better than the popular PC-based diagnostic tool for VWs and Audis. As I have posted here before, us "enthusiasts" don't need to be driving around with a PC on the front seat logging data or dedicating a PC to our freakin' garage! Obviously I am biased as I am a very happy customer but I encourage you to go check them out. Others here also have ProDiag.

BTW, I have never heard of the product that you posted a link to. It does not appear to be a VAG 1551 or VAS 5051 compatible diagnostic tool which means it may not work anyways. Note that it is not enough just to have a physical interface to the OBD II port ... you have to have a device that can "talk" to Audi electronics.

Shade Tree Software, makers of ProDiag ...

Default Why do you keep making claims you can't back up?

"They have an outstanding PalmOS-based solution that supports many different devices and it is as good if not better than the popular PC-based diagnostic tool for VWs and Audis. "

Oh yeah? Then why is it so lacking compared to VAG-COM?

https://forums.audiworld.com/vag/msgs/3416.phtml</a

Default Hmmmm, Those don't pertain to many here on the TT forum

though. Only a handful have the 3.2 DSG. I like Ross-Techs deal don't get me wrong, but Pro-Diag is a good tool as well.
